We Need Your Support!

Please share this with your contacts that wish to see Mark Re-Elected.

This morning, the two democratic opponents started running an ad on Channel 6. This ad is very negative, and definitely shows the lack of integrity in the Sayrs' campaign. We are now in a situation where it is imperative we respond in some fashion, so to offset the damage.

To do this we are asking for your immediate financial support to help cover these unplanned costs in our campaign. This ad, running this close to the election could prove to be our undoing.

You have all been very generous of your time and/or money, and we would not be asking more from you if the need was not so urgent.

Please go to the link below to donate at our web site, or mail to P.O. Box 141441 Spokane Valley, WA 99214.

Thank you in advance for your help with this matter,
Lucy DeVleming

Spokane County headed in the right direction.

We have strengthened the local economy from 114th to 9th on Forbes List in the past 4 years. Over 19,000 jobs were created in the past 3 years.

Our streets are safer and we have new powerful tools to fight crime.

We have cut government waste and have audited over 70% of County services to eliminate more.

We simply cannot afford to veer from the present leadership in these uncertain times.

Please forward this to your entire contact list and encourage them to vote to re-elect Mark Richard as a man of experience, integrity and momentum.

Sign Issues

As we all have noticed, missing signs has been a huge problem through-out this campaign. I am now getting calls that local republican signs are being removed for Obama signs.

Please, if you notice candidate signs that have been dropped, hidden behind trees, bushes, or other signs placed right in front of them, put ours back up. DO NOT remove the others or put ours in front of.

We are all better than that! Let’s continue to take the high road!

Thanks to all of you!!

Chase Youth Commission Election

Commissioner Mark Richard won the mock election held by the Chase Youth Commission after the candidate forum held by the group on October 9th in the City Hall Chambers.

There were nearly one hundred young adults who attended the forum; posing challenging questions about the issues of concern to youth to both Commissioner Richard and his opponent. The result of the mock election conducted by those young adults in attendance after the forum was 55-21 in favor of Commissioner Richard.

"This vote was a wonderful validation of the work we have accomplished to provide hope for vulnerable young people, to expand employment and recreation opportunities as well as representation on Boards and Commissions in county government. These efforts helped Spokane win the coveted 100 best places in the nation for young people to live award by America’s Promise organization for the 3rd year in a row, and I am deeply honored to earn their support" said Commissioner Richard.

Airings of the debate will be on channel 5

10/17 - 9:00 pm
10/23 - 8:30 pm
