THE MARK RICHARD CAMPAIGN

NEEDS YOU!

On Oct. 3^rd, we will be doing a door belling push

The local Republican Party is organizing a huge doorbelling campaign.

We have some key precincts we wish to take care of ourselves, or join in with them. These are precincts where our numbers were down after the Primary. Each person would be given a list of addresses (confirmed republicans, and frequent voters). We will be handing out flyer materials, and taking information for those that wish to have a yard sign. This will be a great opportunity to get some EXERCISE, as well as help the campaign!

Phone Callers

We also need more phone callers! These would be calls on RSVP’s, get out and vote, etc. We have scripts for each situation. Hey, if you’re a talker, this would be a great fit!!!!

Campaign Newsletter - September 8th

SUMMER IS OVER!!!!!

BUT THE MARK RICHARD CAMPAIGN IS NOT! !

OK all of you Mark Richard Supporters! We have got to step up this campaign, HUGELY!!!! We need to:

• Become more visible out there, (sign installation, events, ads, TV, radio)
• Get the word out to all (letters to the editor, chain emails, contact your people and ASK for their help)
• Get more fundraising dollars in so we can accomplish all of these things! (again, contact your people and ASK for their support)

Mark has advised me that there will be an article today, and one tomorrow in the paper that will bring quite a bit of backlash on him (us). We are again requesting help from you to write letters to the editors. These letters are vital!! Our opponent seems to have a strong letter writing team, let’s change that around!

Please take 15 min. or so to compile a letter to one or all of these papers. Try to include the www.richardforcommissioner.com in your letter if at all possible. Look over the web site if you need information to help with your letter as well.

For those of you that have previously expressed areas that you are willing to help, you will be receiving a call from me in the next day or 2 for locked in help

If you have not had the opportunity to help with the campaign, BUT ARE VERY EXCITED AND ANXIOUS TO DO SO! Please contact me ASAP!

I need:

* Sign Volunteer Coordinator – to Help out Robby – call the volunteers, give addresses for signs and get them out in their areas. Plus it comes with a great title! (Would not necessarily require your installing signs)

* Sign Installers – never can have too many

* 1 to 3 people in the Valley area that can help me with off and on deliveries

* 2 to 3 people that can help me with “office” things (from your home) helping to coordinate areas

* Phone callers – call on our donation mailings to help raise more funds

* 1 person to help David with coordinating events and volunteers

* Event people to help with local events, and fundraisers

Mark has various tickets for different events going on during the Fair. If you have an event you would like to attend, please email me as soon as possible and I will follow up on availability. First come, First Serve.

Valley Fest – Sept 19 – 21^st. – 10:00 am – 6pm & 11:00 am – 4pm

Rockford Fair – Sept 19^th – 21^st 9:00 am to 6pm

Spokane County Fair – Need volunteers
Sept. 5th – 14th

(We will join in with the republican booth, hand out Mark information and balloons, as well as help with the full booth)

We need a lot of volunteers to pull this one off. The two weekends are important, but having a presence thru-out the week-day evenings is important as well.

Friends and Colleagues,

We've just entered new territory with the campaign and are now taking full advantage of the social networking websites available on the internet. With the New York Times touting this as the "Year of the Political Blogger" the world is becoming more and more active on the digital campaign front. Our recent efforts to bring the Richard for Commissioner Campaign up to speed have all been developing very nicely.

If you haven't done so already, please visit our website and check out all the information and improvements we've made! We're ramping up our news delivery with the addition of our campaign blog on Blogger, we have also created Myspace and Facebook accounts to build our digital social network and further grow support.

With all these additions we need help to spread the word out there to all your contacts. If you have a Myspace or Facebook account, please add Mark as a friend! When you're reading the blog click the Digg button at the bottom of each article, this helps to further spread the word about our message. We also need people to write endorsements, testimonials, editorial pieces, opinion pieces, event reviews and more!
