- Mark was born and raised in Spokane and he and his family have made Spokane their home. Mark was raised to respect others, live by the Golden Rule and to honor God, his family, friends and community. He was taught that Integrity is defined by what you do when no one is watching and that a person's word is their legacy to their country and their children. These are the values that have guided Mark while serving you as County Commissioner for Spokane County. He attended Jefferson Elementary, Sacajawea Jr. High, and Ferris High School before graduating with a degree in Local Government from Eastern Washington University.
